Thanks! Great points as well; I think that Burnett would be a good fit for the Pirates because it’s a smaller market and he gets a fresh start. I wouldn’t be surprised if they finally get over .500 this year…Clint Hurdle is a fantastic manager.

Great blog! I think the Pirates can attempt to make another early run especially if they can trade for Burnett (a .500 pitcher for the Pirates is always a plus). They will of course not have a chance for the title but maybe a .500 season! To me, the Reds are the clear front runner for the Division title with their additions on their pitching staff. The loss of Pujols and Fielder respectively also help their cause. If Braun does not serve the 50 game suspension I can see the Brewers taking one of the Wildcard positions.
