My Super Bowl XLVII Prediction
2February 3, 2013 by Matt Musico
In the spirit of the Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers squaring off tonight at 6:30pm EST in New Orelans for Super Bowl XLVII, I figured it’d be a good idea to share my prediction with you guys. Rich Sparago, one of the staff writers at Rising Apple, took it upon himself to ask the entire staff what their picks are for the Big Game so we can post it on the website, and it looks like most of us are in favor of the 49ers to win their sixth Super Bowl in team history.
For my pick, I went with the 49ers beating the Ravens and Ray Lewis in the last game of his professional career, 24-21. I’m sure the score I picked will not be close to the actual final score, but it can’t hurt to take a stab. In the end, which ever team does come out on top is fine with me.
Although there is plenty of debate as to what Lewis has done off the field, I still respect him on it, as he’s an incredible motivator for his teammates, but I have to go with San Fran in support of my friend, Doug. He’s the biggest Randy Moss fan I know and would be elated to see him hoist the Lombardi Trophy. So, let’s go Niners!
Enjoy the game, everyone! And don’t forget, the Super Bowl being over means Spring Training is right around the corner…

Have no idea who these teams are and care even less about the outcome – but I’m totally thrilled that this is one step closer to spring training!
haha fair enough!! Deep down inside, I’m the same way.
