The SNY fan page on Facebook recently posted a status saying there will be a special edition of Mets Hot Stove Report Wednesday evening at 6:30 pm EST regarding R.A. Dickey.

What is it about, you ask? Well, one can only assume it has something to do with the announcement for the NL Cy Young, as there will be special guests present, including, Ron Darling, Keith Hernandez, Josh Thole, and Frank Viola.

Could this be foreshadowing that the knuckler has won the award? I think so. The Mets haven’t had a player favored to win such an award in recent years, so if I had to take a guess, that’s what it would be. Could there be an additional announcement regarding his immediate future with the organization? Hey, you never know.
